I am putting together a table of timber yards, with information from members who have actually visited the yards. Can you please help with information about Chandlers Ford Timber?

Can you self-select or is it by appointment?

Will they deliver?

Do they have online ordering?

Are prices displayed at the yard?

Do they sell domestic hardwoods?

Do they sell other hardwoods?

Do they sell softwoods?

Do they sell manufactured boards?

Do they sell turning blanks?

Are they a one-man-band or a small, medium or large yard?

Will they cut to length to fit in your vehicle?

Do you have any comments?

Will they deliver? locally yes

Do they have online ordering? no

Are prices displayed at the yard? no

Do they sell domestic hardwoods? No but they will order in anything you want

Do they sell other hardwoods? No but they will order in anything you want

Do they sell softwoods? yes a cut above the usual banana wood from the diy sheds

Do they sell manufactured boards? yes

Do they sell turning blanks? no

Are they a one-man-band or a small, medium or large yard? 2-man band

Will they cut to length to fit in your vehicle? yes

Do you have any comments? This a a very small outfit but are so helpful that I try and put business their way. They take an interest in what you want.
They will order in anything you need that they don't have and put items aside for a day or so. Their prices seem very reasonable.

I give the same answers as Bob (Myfordman) and have been using CF Timber for some years.
The founder has now retired and his nephew, Mark, runs it with two colleagues / assistants.
As Bob said, they will get anything in for you and are always very helpful.
