I am looking to replace my triton workcentre with a purpose built table saw. Reviews of the Deft T30 and T50 are quite favorable. However, I am interested in the sliding table version of the Deft TS and wondered whether any members have any experience of using or inspecting this machine . If so, I would welcome your opinions. Thanks.

Lynx, is selling a Record with sliding table I think, good chance to get a good saw from a member? if you're near Swindon?

You're quite right John. Having re-read the product description and because of the price, contacted Lyndhurst Woodworking earlier, before reading your post, who told me the sliding table saw was indeed not a Deft nor was it of comparable quality, hence the price. Don't think I am interested in it anymore but thanks for your views. Might consider the Deft T30 instead.
