A new programme called Coyote has been written to help woodworkers design scrollsaw patterns.
Although I haven't used it yet myself, early reports suggest that pattern designers who don't like using complex graphics software such as Paint Shop Pro will find it both simple and effective. At $80 it's not cheap, but it may be good value for many people.
