I have 150psi compressor made by sybol ( model Er9/100 ) which I cant find online, I haven't used it much and not at all for at least five years. I left the bottom drain hole thing open so there should not have been any water laying around in the the tank, but that's how I left it. Its been under a bench in a very clean frost free environment and looks new.
I want to test it to see if it is still okay but I'm not sure about how to fire it up after all this time. Is there a standard procedure for starting a compressor that has been left for a while??
I don't know much about them and don't want to bugger it up.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

If it is an oil filled change the oil, check the inlet filter and all your couplings and away you go.
