Hi can anyone give me a steer on the suitability of using one manufacturers nails in another maufacturers coil nailer...
Specifically I am interested in knowing if nails for a MAX CN565 will fit in a Bostitch N66-C-E...
Looking at Bostitch's US site they clearly advertise their nails for a N66 will fit in the MAX.
Both are 15 degree siding nailers, both accept wire and plastic collated nails.
The reason I ask is I phoned a supplier of the type of nails and asked about the suitability of some cladding nails they advertise as a cladding solution when used with the MAX CN565. I got the impression they'd rather sell me a "complete system" expensive nailer and all.
The only thing I can see that may cause this not to work is that these nails have relatively small countersunk heads.
Has anyone any experience of mixing and matching, or shall I just take the gamble ?
