Clifton or Lie-Nielsen. - expensive trip to sittingborne

hello,

have just got back from Axminster in sittingborne, i did go for LN in the end and am delighted.

I was planing on only spending £250 on just a 5 1/2 but then i looked at the LN chisel set and then the no 4 smoother and then the medium sholder plane, then i thought if i am buying these i need to look after them right so i also brought;

plane socks

plane care kit

tool bag

japanese dovetail saw, tennon saw and flush cut saw

then i walked over to the dust extraction bit and thought i could do with a new one and the piping kit would be usefull.

so it would be true to say that the bank did suffer today.
