Hi,

A short while ago whilst ordering a load of pen kits I bought a Churchill fountain pen kit to try. I also picked up a couple of drill bits for it as the instructions said you require a 31/64" and 33/64"

The 33/64" fits the brass tube perfect however, the 31/64" is too big

I wondered if anyone else had turned one of these kits before and happened to know the correct drill bit size. I know the brass tube isn't wrong because it fits the bushings

I'll post the link to the pen kit instructions

Thanks in advance.

Not turn one of them but if I have a kit that I do not know the size I measure it with a vernier I also only use the bushes as a guide again I measure the components.

Hi.
I have no interest in turning whatsoever - haven't even read your question.

But I do think that CosmicNacho is the best name on the entire forum.

Absolutely love it.

Yeah I can measure the tube with digital calipers I just wondered if anyone had encountered the sane issue, ill have to buy the drill bit so don't want to get it wrong again really. Thanks.

Ha ha, thanks zeddedhed. That reply made me laugh. I've used this username for many things for a good 10 years now.
