Your opinions of the Nexus 3 chuck kit from Charnwood please.

No idea about the Nexus, but I've had a Charnwood Viper 3 chuck for a few years. Never had cause to complain.

Considered the Nexus because I need a chuck with an M33 x 3.5 pitch thread.

Looks like quite a comprehensive set for the money.

Only negative I would say from looking is that there looks to be quite a jump between a spigot the standard jaws would hold and that the larger jaws would hold with the former being quite small, not sure if an intermediate size are available, but something you could work around I expect.

Never actual used or held one so can’t comment on quality / accuracy / fit / finish - above based on picture alone.

I'll not buy another Charnwood item again and for that price you can get a Record Power SC3 from Snainton's with the peace of mind of RP's five year warranty and infinitely better customer service than Charnwood could ever dream of.
