does anyone have a plan for making a centre finder,i remember seeing one ages ago but can't remember where.
cheers kevin

kevin what are you trying to find the centre of?? a tube, or straight wood.

a combination square will give you the quick and dirty answer on any smallish tube, since it will give you two 45degree lines.

otherwise, you need a straight piece which is attached to a piece across the top at 45degrees.

no drawing, but i would guess agoogle for centre finder would help
paul

Hi Kevin.

Here's a simple jig:-

You can make it any size you want, as long as the hole is exactly in the middle, between of the dowels.

I hope this is what you wanted.
