I've been looking for a secondhand duplicator for some time without any luck as the odd ones I've seen have been far too far away and expensive so I'm seriously thinking of building one myself, has anyone built one of these from scratch?
I'd likely use square and round tube as I have some lying around and also could easily make up bearings / rollers from nylon or Lignum vitai which I also have. There are plenty of videos on youtube and it looks fairly simple but the opinion of anyone here who's actually done it would be welcomed.
I need to make it long enough to take an air rifle stock and possibly have width to copy a guitar (I'm sure my mate will ask
