I need some discs of CF cut out of 2mm CF plate sheet
CNC might achieve the best finish perhaps
Can anyone help?

Hi,
For a 2mm thickness I would have thought either a cnc router or a hole saw would be your best bet rather than a lathe. Perhaps even someone with a laser cutter??

You might struggle to get it laser cut unless its a pro company with good extraction. I believe chlorine gas is given off from the epoxy.

It cuts well on a CNC router and can be done with a hand router or table. Sanding through the grits and a polish gives a mirror glass finish.

Just to add, I have chipped the edges due to the router bit before. A bit like splintering on PLY. Although I was told I was unlucky on this. I never pursued it again as the project fell by the way.

Unable to find anyone so far
CNC seems to be the way to go
Will update if any luck
