Calling all Finishing Experts

For those who don't venture out of General Woodworking and Hand tools, I've started a thread to get together an 'Idiots guide to Oil Finishes'

I'd not used finishing oil (or many other finishes) until the competition. So, to help forum members in a similar situation I'm trying to collect basic info to help de-mystify the world of Oil Finishes.

If anyone has information to add, or wants to find out more, please take a look here.
