Cable/stud detector

Any recommendations for a decent quality cable and stud detector? I know there are some cheap ones out there but more than happy to spend a decent amount (£50 ish) if needed.

I have a couple costing about £20.00 neither of which works very well all the time. I have seen good demonstrations of the Bosch which costs, from memory, about £80.00 but others have told me it does not work well in practice but I do not know the conditions they were using it under. Some types of plasterboard seem to confuse them all. So I am unable to to give you a recommendation apart from saying that do not expect brilliant results from any of them but anything is better than nothing.

I think that a decent cable/stud detector is like the proverbial from a rocking horse TBH. I had that expensive Bosch and it was pathetic.
