Bigbuds - Todays haul

Bought a no5 plane and a few chisels, most likely paid over the odds but they were local. The planes like new on top just needs the sole and sides cleaning and I really like the chisels, cant find any ref to them online at all. Anyone know of them ?

Taymar I'm pretty sure is a marketing company not a manufacturer - those chisels may well be made by a well known manufacturer. They certainly don't look rubbish.

Aye, I agree. I think they are/were buy in and re-badge merchants, I used to use their blowtorches regularly.
Decent stuff though.

Although I know nothing of Tamar I'll also follow the others in looking past the branding and seeing pretty fine chisels!

Taymar, as no legs says. were plumbers tools, including the well remembered gas burner/torches.
The 4th chisel, from the bottom, on close up, looks like having a boxwood handle to me.

Picked up another Job lot from the free ad's, not going to say what I paid lol

DMT Stone, Stanley No3, Stanley No3C and a set of marples turning chisels never used and rust free.
