After realising we spend a small fortune on presents each year (my wife being one of eight (most of them with children) doesn't help, we've been on a cost cutting exercise:

Yellow Poplar mirror recycled from a disgusting one we inherited with the house (for ?):

Bubinga photo frame with Ash keys (for sister):

Plant pot holder (I'd forgotten how frustrating it is working with Pine) (for father-in-law):

More pics including ones of WIP here:

And I'm not done yet - another three frames still waiting to be finished - but I won't bore you with those ;).

Cheers

Gidon

Those are lovely. I'm sure they'll be well received.

Lovely work Gidon - particularly like the Bubinga photo frame and the Ash and Ebony mirror

Thanks chaps.
Beejay - well no-one got the front door for Christmas - although that's what my wife was hoping for - but she got it soon after ;).
John - however accurately I setup up my table saw the only way I get really tight mitres is using a shooting board:

Cheers

Well done gidon, I'm gonna have to make myself a shooting board.

Nice work Gidon, you have been busy.

The family will be well chuffed with those.
