Hey i found a couple of pictures of a nest box i made for a work friend about 5 years ago
The plans were from the sullfolk wildlife trust website and labeled barn owl nest box out of 1 sheet of plywood

It was due to be cladded in cedar shingles was a bout 5 years ago i dont think hes made any progress im tempted to make another and donate it to a farmer i know

This image is the back of the box it shows the roosting area
Apparently dont quote me when the owls eggs hatch the male is kicked out he still supports the chicks but is generally in a tree nearby this small alcove gives him some shelter and proximity to the nest
The main enterance is opposite the roosting area sealed off from the roosting area
The platform is more or less a slatted shelf made in 2 pieces and slotted on from either side
The gaps helping the fledglings keep a grip
Just thought IDE share and maybe spread some inspiration barn owls seem to be struggling
