Bargains galore

My local Budgens (Lightwater) convenience store is closing down opposite where I work and are subsequently having a closing down sale.

I was overcome with a 'Black Friday'-esque form of hysteria this morning when I noticed they had a DIY section with 75% off! I bought a shed load of London shelf brackets @ 24p each, M6/M8 screws/wingnuts, Rustins BLO, a few tins of Rustins varnish, Strypit, Evo stick wood glue, araldite and paid just £17!!!!

Chances are, most of this will sit unused on a shelf for years, however I'm fighting the urge to get back in there and buy some more

lol good on ya - but be advised PVA wood glue has a shelf life, which would be made shorter if it's stored in a shed that gets hot in the summer - it goes lumpy and stringy, so maybe avoid buying more than you'll use in a couple of years.
