I got up this morning to find an email saying FedEx are on the way with my goodies.

Not that surprising... Axminster are not really a tool store but a music hall mind reading act - they knew what you wanted before you did :lol:

Although I've been a customer since they had the shop in Chard St, so they ought to know me by now. 8)

When I first went through Axminster, it was a shock to discover how tiny the shop was then, considering the stuff they had on offer!

I remember it well John, a veritable Aladdin's Cave...the shop is still there and they were putting on a bandsaw demo there last week when we were at Ax.
They now have 133,000 active customers though, so whether they say to themselves....'Ah, that ne're do well John Walker...again' is a debatable point :mrgreen: - Rob
