Hi all, haven't posted for a while so I thought I'd put this up

Its ash about 200 dia and about 180 deep wall thickness is 12

finished with just sanding sealer and then buffed with the beale buffing system

Have you got some sort of coating on it or is it the photo? Definitely has a translucent hue. Looks like a nice simple shape, not always that easy to achieve, with a good finish. Excellent user

Good uncluttered lines and well finished, would have been pushed to identify it as Ash as you don't seem to have any pronounced growth ring texture showing.

I did wonder, looks more like sycamore with that greyish patch on the sidebut I am often wrong in my wood identification :oops:

thanks for all the kind comments chaps, did wonder myself if it was ash, can't remember what the bark was like its been drying in the garage for about 18 months.
