This time a maple bowl, axis dimensions 172x132mm, height 35mm.
Also a WIP picture of flattening the bottom.
Finished as usual with two layers of blanc transparent acrylic stain decoration.

Another nice looking bowl Ad :D
I've had one go oval on me as it's dried out,that blue stained Holly one i turned a short while ago.Looks quite good :D
So i think i will leave it to nature for my ovals :lol:

Paul, the same happened with me with turning a wet sycamore fruitdish a few years ago. Has now a pretty oval shape. Nothing can defeat nature :)
