Thanks Carl for your help , you are right and I have found that the Woodstar and the Triton bobbin sanders are exactly the same so I have bought Triton sanding sleeves for my Woodstar machine . Thank you again .

Thank you folks for your help I have found the sanding sleeves from Draper Toolbox product no W1 13801 set of 6 sanding drums-BBS450A Oddly enough I have found that the Triton bobbin sander is exactly the same as the Woodstar OS58 so I got Triton ones that exactly fit my Woodsrar .

All thin pieces of wood going through a planer need to be put through with great care because at any time they can break up and be "spat " out at you at great speed and therefore causing the operator possible injury . So if you are doing this be "ready " for a possible problem .

To begin with cut a piece of wood longer than you need for the bowl and screw it to the bench with 6 screws , carve out the inside , turn it over screw it down and carve then carve the outside , then saw off the 2 ends and hand finish those end bits . Job done ! Good luck. Anselm.
