Hi Jack, Just calculated shipping and will email it over. As far being any good for drawer boxes, they are fantastic and produce a really nice cut and join. They a super strong and will cut in to any wood.

Hmmm sounds like more hassle than its worth. Ill have a quick play when the hinges turn up but don't think he will want to pay for the time tbh.

Im going to make a small car from wood. Chassis, body etc. Dump a bike engine in there. Jobs a gooden. Im actually not kidding, been working on the plans for 3 years. Hopefully gonna start next year :shock:

They are windows made by someone else but he wasn't happy with them so took them in an unfinished state. I've finished them off but he now wants friction hinges as opposed to the now fitted stormproof hinges. i've ordered a couple of different pairs to have a play with.

My 01 transit has 200k miles, its been well maintained and drives like new. My wifes car is a 06 Laguna with 108k and is as good as new. My 1970 Cougar has done 400k miles and is on it 6th engine :lol: I do drive it hard though!

Hi all, A customer wants me to fit friction hinges to his top hung windows. This is something ive never done before and was hoping someone here would be able to offer some advice. If im honest, ive never touched a friction hinge.....Im a kitchen man :lol: Anyone help me out at all? Cheers Nick

Can you buy knife blanks ready to go? I quite fancy having a go at making one but have no means(or the skill) to do the tempering thing. :wink:
