    HVLP painting MDF

Thanks, I have a SATA Minijet gravity fed, should I go for the biggest tip and needle I can find? I'd also like some recommendations on what paint to use if you could advise. I've been reading that Floetrol should be used to dilute the pain for spraying etc.

    HVLP painting MDF

Hi guys, I've been making a few MDF radiator covers and would like to know a little more about spraying them. I have several guns for Car paint and wondered if I could adapt one of them to use. I only really need to prime them up for the customer :-) I popped into my local Brewers today but...

Hi guys, I've had the table for a few years now and not used it. So I'm looking to get a saw and router to mount permanently in the setup. Sadly I missed a recent auction for a pair so now I'm looking to purchase them separately. I'd like to know what model saw and router I need for the table...

    Working with MDF advice please

Thanks for the advice, unfortunately it's unlikely I'll be able to cut outside due to the location and noise. It does pose a problem for me, the more I read up on MDF the less happy I am about using it. As it's going to be the main material I use I think I'll need to look at setting up a half...

    Working with MDF advice please

Hi folks, after many years of waiting I'm finally going to build a shed/workshop. It will hopefully be used for a little venture I'm starting up making items from MDF. I'll be using a Triton 2000 work centre and also a chop saw and router, so I know I'm going to need some kind of extraction...

Making my first shotgun case, advice please

This would only be for transporting the gun, not displaying it or storing, I have a safe for that. This is the type of thing I'm thinking of; http://www.sitemason.com/gallery/kf0PAI?id=55802

    looking for a digital camera

I'll back the Lumix, it's a very nice piece of kit, doubt it would survive a drop and certainly don't drop it off your yak! I just got one for about £170 i think, the Lumix TZ6. It also does very nice macro shots and wide angle 16.9, and very impressive video too, mega zoom without digital...
