Looking on the Makita website, the BHP456RFE is a combi hammer drill. The equivalent drill/driver would be the BDF452RFE. I have that drill driver myself and its an excellent work horse. I purchased that specifically for the compact length compared to a combi drill & also the weight saving.

you can buy mdf sheets with a very similar bead already machined into it. it will be in 8x4 sheets so will just need dimensioning and will save your cutters. I will try and find out the exact name of the boards for you. Sent from my Desire HD using Tapatalk 2

Tom, I've had the same problem with aquamac, they call up for a 3mm groove, the reddiseals cutter is 2.7mm hence the problem. the reddiseals cutter is designes for their gasket at 2.7mm wide. Stormer, glad I have been of help. Sent from my Desire HD using Tapatalk 2

I use one regularly for hinges, jigs etc, as long as the drill is plumb it will be very well centred. I would spend a bit of money to get the better quality ones rather than the very chap ones that are out there. my set are trend ones fwiw. Sent from my Desire HD using Tapatalk 2
