    Router Table Fences - why are they split sometimes?

    I replaced my split fence with a ruddy big oak one with a 90mm hole in the middle to take my panel cutter. I clamp perspex to either side to reduce the gap. A split fence was taking me ages to align correctly....... but I probably wasn't doing it correctly in the first place. :roll:

    I've got Freud Entry Door and panel cutters, they're ferocious to say the least! !! Can't fault them.

    I was asked to make a sample of 44mm doors for a shooting lodge, 4 panel. Not my thing really, I bought the Freud Entry door set and ran two, one redwood one douglas fir. The customer is happy with the samples but wants them in oak! I have 146 to run, all being well the contract could be...

    Thanks for the prompt reply. I'm planning on running 20-30- profiles each week and was going to get a Jet JWS-34 LX for the job. Would this be up to it ? If so what system/cutters ? If not what would ?

    Door profile tooling

    I'm after spindle tooling for profiling 44mm internal doors, ogee, half round etc Any recommendations ? Freud seem to be the best bet.

    Which 1/2" router ?

    I bought a Hitachi 12MV2 for my router table, wildly too powerful for hand work, put wheels on it and you could go carting, but otherwise it's been faultless.

    I'm upgrading from a router table to a spindle moulder and my first of many questions is............. Can anyone tell me what cutter limiters are and why I would want to use 'em ?
