Hi Jon. Depends on Mac or PC. You can get 30 day trials on Autocad, or Progecad (called iCad on Mac), which are both great. If you want something slightly simpler, sketchup is well regarded (although not personally a fan), or Turbocad is pretty good (and cheap to purchase too).

Hi All, Don't really have enough space in my workshop to store sheets of plywood / mdf, so was thinking about some kind of narrow store outside, but obviously would need to be watertight. Anyone got any suggestions of things they've bought or built? Am thinking of a space may 2.5m deep, 2m high...

I have a similar set up to the OP and have the Dewalt, which I'm really happy with. A good set up + the dual locking fence makes accurate cuts really easy. Would definitely recommend it.

Anyone have any recommendations for a good dowel jig? I'm looking to drill equidistant dowel holes into parallel mdf sheets to support movable shelving.

Hi All. Just finished a production desk rack for a friends music studio (copied from another design, but made with plywood). Not sure what to finish it with is given the kind of wear and tear it'll get. Any thoughts? Wax / oil / varnish etc? Cheers.
