    OnBuy Woodworking Planing Table

I can't see a riving knife or guards in the other photos, it's definitely looking like a death trap, it also states that the blade can't be lowered so there's also that...

    OnBuy Woodworking Planing Table

Hello all, Not sure if it's been posted before, but just stumbled upon this machine that states it can plane, saw and drill. Is this kind of machine normal? I'm concerned as to how you would switch on the individual part you want to use and if not how safe it would be planing timber with a saw...

    Router Woes

Hello all, I bought my first router a while ago a Makita RP2301FC and recently bought an Axminster Router Table, i’m struggling to attach the router to the base of the table, do I have to buy a special base plate for my make and model or am I missing something here?

    Rutlands

I bought their Rutlands ( probably rebadged) lathe in december as it was my breakthrough into wood turning and didn’t wanna break the bank just starting off, the spanner that they provide to help take off the default faceplate is a kind of cast iron that’s about 2/3mm thick and it completely...

    Bowl Size Ponderings

Biggest blank I've found yet is the spalted beech on English woods at 19 inches in diameter and that is quite costly, Let us know when you find a millionaire that wants to buy all our giant bowls 🤣

    Bowl Size Ponderings

Hi all, I'm currently looking to upgrade my bench top lathe to a floor standing one soon and the most obvious improvement when going up sizes is the swing over the bed for bowl turning with some lathes that offer outboard turning being able to turn bowls 29+ inches in diameter. Anybody that...

    First Bandsaw Buying Advice

I had no idea the wheels would become useless, If I was going to use a purpose built cupboard with casters I'd probably start looking at the hammer n2-35.

    First Bandsaw Buying Advice

I have been watching a lot of set up videos by the manufacturers and some by matt estlea but i haven’t seen Alex Snodgrass’ videos yet thanks for the recommendation. I wish i had the space and funds for a startrite or minimax machine, they’ll have to be dream workshop machines for now :(
