    School play equipment

In my job I'm responable for our playground inspections/maintenance. But I hope I don't put you off, this is a great idea and is very much appreciated by the children and staff. Quick question? Are you doing this as a paid job or voluntary? Liability is a big question when it comes to...

URGENT: Does anyone have an AXMINSTER AW106PT

I'm going to agree with OJP, this is not one for for the back on a car. The label on the side of the box says 200KG gross. Also it comes bolted to the bottom of packaging and I'm gussing it can only be transported upright. but the delivery is good, the guy that delivered mine helped my move it...

    Which Circular Saw?

Hi phil, I used a colleague's rage about 2 years ago and found it well make, but from memory i think the blade was not viewable while in use (I like to be able to see the cut). I think its enclosed to keep in sparks while cutting metal. but i think the design may have changed since then. but...

    Grabbits, which one?

hi joiner_ sim, i have the trend (the only vote so far) but haven't used the other. find it works ok, it gets about 3 out of 4 screws out but not always works. i find it doesn't work very well on screws less the size 8 or m5 screws. ( sorry these number maybe wrong from memory) i've need...

    Cranked Spanner

i'd say its not needed. I have a t11 and use it in a table but find its easy enough to change the hight to get at it with the spanner but i do use the trend router table and have the quick release fittings. I guess it depends how often you you use the router in the table and i think once you...

FOR SALE, i having a bit of a clear out

hello all. I've been planning to buy my first P/T and i'm short of two things money and space. so i'm hoping to kill to birds with one stone. Not being a very experienced user of ebay, thought it maybe easier and less hassle offering it to other forum members first. As their is quite a number...

    £500 bandsaw

hi karl, i bought the jet JWBS- 14 about a year ago for just less then 500. and found it a great saw. only thing i'd improve is the guides. i find the cutting size's fine for everything i do. may also be worth adding the Scheppach Basato 4, it seams to have good guides and large cutting sizers.

    Chester?

hi p111dom, I've lived in Chester for about 8 years and I'm sorry to say their is a void of good woodworking shops near Chester. In fact generally their is a shortage in the northwest. I would be very pleased to be proved wrong, to be truthful I'd be over the moon. sorry this doesn't help but...
