Dear Itech 260s owners, does anyone find the dust extraction in planer mode is terrible? In thickness mode I'm catching the vast majority of the chips, but in surfacing it all just ends up under the table on the thicknessing bed. Also, does anyone know how to tension the belt? Cheers

Does anyone have problems with the rollers slipping? Lately I have to push / pull my boards through the thicknesser as the rollers just slip against the stock. Tried cleaning them / waxing the thicknesser bed but it still happens. Any advice would be most welcome.

Hi all, I'm just about to purchase a Kity 1619 table saw with the sliding carriage, however it's missing the long rail that bolts on to the side of the saw and guides the carriage. Does anyone know where I could get a replacement? I haven't been able to find anything on google. Thanks

Thanks all. I did consider bolting an auxiliary fence on but I didn't want to take away any capacity from the surfacer. In the end I double sided taped some 60grit sandpaper onto my very flat workbench and spent 10 minutes a day over the last week just gliding the fence over it back and forth...

Anyone have any thoughts on whether this level of flatness is "within tolerance"? Scosarg say the tolerance is 0.5mm. I don't have a feeler guage to measure with but it's enough of a difference to throw of square if jointing boards say half the height of the fence vs more than the height of it.

I just took delivery of one of these a few days ago and also found the fence "guide" to be a slightly at an angle with the bed. However if you loosen the 4 bolts with an allen key, there is enough play in the hole to allow readjustment. Mine is dead square now. I do have my own issue with it...
