Starrett combination square head not true

Thanks. It should not affect the angle accuracy anyway. It still goes back to starrett because of the square head

Starrett combination square head not true

Hi Guys. I believe that I have a problem with my square head. I wonder this is an error within tolerance of is it too much. I bought my Starrett C435M-300 few months ago but I did not need to use the square head separately until few days ago. I used it for the project to measure 90 degrees. The...

Advice on dust extraction & ducting - CamVac & Cyclone?

Hi everyone I have a similar situation to Sam's. My table saw dust extraction port is 100mm but my cyclone has only 50mm inlet and outlet to the shop vac. I am not considering at the moment upgrading the cyclone but I want to make a little more substantial dust extraction system. I know that...

    kity 419 table saw

I have an opportunity to buy a second hand kity 619. My only worry is that it could be underpowered. How does 1.1kW motor cope with hardwood? I do not have a space for large table saw so I am considering Kity or Axminster ts250 which has 1.5kW motor but probably not as good build quality as...

yes, I mean site jobs :) I am not expecting ready product straight out of the saw, I just want true , square cuts which I do not always get with my dewalt. Thanks, that give me some idea about bosch. How did you like the fence? I have heard that it may be some play. I must admit that dw745 fence...

New Saw - Bosch GTS 10 XC, DeWalt DWE7491, Metabo TS 254

Hi All I heed an advice from owners of Bosch GTS J10 XC. I have Dewalt DW745 and near the blade the table is off by 0.04”. I am aware that both saws are contractor saws and don’t expect miracles but 0.04” is a bit too much. I would expect the quality of the table in Bosch to be higher as the...

    table saw top not flat

thanks everyone, maybe I do I expect to much from site saw. I would not say I have a high spot, it's more like top is sagging it the middle around the blade. I would have to grind/sand 80% of the top surface to match the low spot, Im not sure how achievable that is

    table saw top not flat

Hi everyone. Please advise. I own DW745 table saw which is out of flat near the insert plate by 0.02" comparing to the edge. It does effect my cuts and to get perfect 90 degrees I need to adjust the blade angle almost every time when I change a rip width. Dewalt do not give me an answer what...
