Thanks for the replies. We'll that's certainly made my mind up that I won't be buying any cheap table saw. Think my route for a table saw will be saving up for something that works properly.

    Sled For Table Saw

Apologies if this is in the wrong section. Right I've been debating getting a table saw for a while now and it seems the major problem with these including some expensive ones is the fences are purely not up for the job and many have a very small cutting area. Still ain't built my workshop yet...

Can anyone recommend a decent combi drill.

Someone I believe on here said the DHP 481 was too heavy when I was asking about it, so needed to see for myself and went to Anglia tools and when I picked it up it feels no heavier then the any other drills I've been using through the yrs. It came with a really nice impact driver to which is...

Cheers for the replies. I've decided to crack on ASAP. Just one more question if you don't mind. Unfortunately my Air gun completely gave up a while back so I'm going to have to screw it so can someone recommend me a good quality 3" screw please. I'm going to use 3 inch nails for the base frame.

    Workshop Build

This may sound a silly question but worth a go. I'm going to hopefully start my workshop build in the next week or two but can't afford to lay out all the materials in one hit. Anyway I've got 3/4 of studs etc and timber to build the base but things like OSB & Cladding will have to wait. Is...

    Trump

Not here for an argument Jacob just putting my opinions across and by reading what you've wrote above I'd say my views certainly doesn't suit your own narrative which will probably make me a Hitler admirer, a Bigot & islamophobic. You need to Maybe search a little deeper on the so-called Muslim...

    Trump

Does make me smile when I read or watch those against Trump. Before we had a POTUS in Obama who had the absolute cheek to get involved in our Brexit debate telling us we are at the back of the queue then when Hilary lost the vote the liberal left & including Obama accused Russia of interfering (...

    Best Mitre Saw under £350

Sorry to go off topic a bit, A friend at work said Festool quality & engineering is the best out there but said he has made a couple of school boy errors by replacing a couple of his Makita battery operated tools like Combi drills & replaced them for Festool, he said the quality of the drill is...

Cheers Steve, That's the predicament I'm in, I've ignored reviews before & gone out and purchased a product and it's been superb, I've done it on tools, holidays & always been pretty lucky. My cousin has the Makita & he swears by it, he knows someone who's got the metabo in 10inch form and...
