    i find if i put up a piece of work for sale like this one,unless people do craftwork,or scrolling,they will not understand the amount of work that goes into the piece,people only see it as a piece of wood,where scrollers understand the time that was spent creating it,.........my opinion anyway

    well too be honest it didnt realy make much,infact offers were so low i took it out of the auction,and donated it too the hospital anyway,they said if they could reach a better price they would sell,if not they would keep it and display it in the hospital.

    yes,i use a hegner multicut2,which is fitted with the quick clamp. i do a lot of internal cuts on my projects ,so the quick clamp is a must.

    done this piece a while back,and put it up for a charity auction,where the proceeds went too a local hospital. pattern by dirk boleman the frame is mahogany ,and the main plaque is ply and beach overlays ,

    i find spirals so easy too control,infact i use them more often than a normal blade, maybe a little more clean up after,but i still prefer them,especiely for potrait work anyway .

    cut it from 3mm ply,used a no.3 spiral, done a stack cut ,cutting 2 pieces at once,done red lips on the second piece,but prefer the black one show here,

    in the lordw prayer,the main panel is made up of 3 pieces,where the joints are covered by the overlays,i used a 18 inch fretsaw when i cut mine originaly

    i buy my blades online from mikes workshop,aka flying dutchman blades,i use a lot of spirals blades and his are great, google the name and he should be easy too find

    scrimper,if you could scan parts for me ,that would be great,i have the pattern for the main plaque,i am missing the frame,and all the overlays,includinng the wording overlays that hide the joint in the plaque.....fingers crossed.

    i too got caught ,my first item i sold on it was a phone,the buyer said funds were sent too my account so i posted on the item,and as you can guess i never got the money and all attemps too contact the buyer dried up, the moral is ONCE BITTEN,TWICE SHY

    looks great,i too use a hegner , a multicut 2 ,and find it too be great, i do a lot of potraits,so i immedietly purchased the quick clamp ,too speed up blade change and use, previously i used a scheppach deco tronic,and the only thing i miss from it is the variable speed it had, best of luck...

    thanks for all yere replies people,i do have some of the pattern,but unfortunatly after a lot of use ,the lines have become distorted and are not as crisp as i would like,all i have ,was drawn on a sheet of paper and need redoing,i am missing the patterns for the frame,and all the overlays,geoff...
