Hi Phil I agree with you on the Sycamore, Its some of the best I've seen and very easy to turn. I think its what you call rippled Sycamore.. Lovely patterns and markings in it, Pat

Hi, I know last time i was at H.O.W , they had tonnes of oak boards, all different sizes. may be to far for you but do check them out could be worth a trip to pick what you want, Hope that helps Pat

thats a cracker Vic, I bought some spalted beech from ebay from a guy and found it to be a bit soft, I couldn't get a finish on it, But i am a leaner so its nice to see your work.. I just got the latest offer from HOW . so i may get some of their beech if i have a chance of winning that...
