    Dado cutters - Please, what is so dangerous about them

    I have used dado blades here in Canada for at least 40 years, in school workshops too, and never experienced any problems. None of the equipment had automatic braking. I use one on both my own table saw and radial arm saw and wouldn't be without a set.

    I am new to this forum and find it very interesting. It's amazing what you guys/gals can build in small spaces. I enjoy woodworking and have recently bought a Oneway 1640 lathe; a fine machine. I built my own aeroplane mostly out of wood that I enjoy flying.
