    Planer thicknesser

Hi Frosties I have been using the Record 10 x 6 planer thicknesser for the past 6yrs and it gives a very clean cut. The sliding fence is of aluminiun so not 110% accurate (i added an 1" thick Oak guide and longer ) because of dismounting to do your thicknessing. Have done some accurate work...

Yes mate , just the one. They are Tannoys and with the ducted horn it generates fantastic bass as well as mid and high. My son rang me to say that he had found an old church organ LP and wow the room was shaking with the low notes. Female singers are a dream to listen to. Lesk

Thats a shame you didn't finish them Rod. Hopefully you might find the time to do that. I hope damp is not a problem in your garage (dont mean to be rude). Sounds like a different listening experience with the Acoustas. Still its just brilliant to just sit and listen to good quality sound...

Hi Rod Yes the sound is very good, my son is testing them at the moment. He tells me that they are a little bright but he can change the crossovers to lessen this. Your Acoustas speakers are an interesting design could that be a possible build? Bet they sound really good. Lesk
