    Bird cage

My male parrotlet is not as tame as he was before I bought the female. But it was worth it because I bought two Border Collies and spent less time in the condo. So I bought him a female as soon as I could find one in my area. He was so happy when I came home with her! :D They both come to me...

    Bird cage

I think I read somewhere that parrotlets are related to the Amazons. Or maybe it was something about parrotlets being just like an Amazon parrot, only smaller. I'm not sure if I want to give them a nestbox because I have no experience with it. If they take care of the babies on their own then...

    Bird cage

Thank you! :) I made the first cage in 2008. I only had one parrotlet then. I was going to make the new cage last year but I never got around to build it.

    Bird cage

LOL! The pic was taken right after they flew in there. She was probably wondering why all their toys are in there and not at home. They are more active and playful after living in the cage for three days now, so I assume that they are happy! :)

    Bird cage

I hate the look of the regular bird cages so I make my own for my two parrotlets. I made this cage two years ago: I wanted to make a bigger cage since I've had a few ideas and the old one was small and difficult to clean. The old cage is 70cm x 50cm x 170cm. The new cage will be 120cm x 75cm...

    How to make these doors?

Thanks for the help! :) I think I will have a go at this in July. I have bought my first apartment and they will start building it in October. I got a better price because I told them I'll make the kitchen cabinet doors myself. :D I think this piece will look great in the apartment. I also want...

    How to make these doors?

Hi! I really like this: http://www.bernhardt.com/itemDetail.php?colltitle=Carmel%20Highlands&itemid=1523&collid=392 But I don't quite understand how the doors are made! I've made lots of raised panel doors before, but not like these. Any ideas how to make them? I just love the design! :D

    Cage for my parrotlet.

I made a cage for my new parrotlet because I just HATE the look of the store bought cages. I stained it with dark walnut woodstain. Added a small door for the bird to use: In my living room: And Gizmo seems happy with his new big cage! The cage is big enough for the bird...

    Making a stair post (gluing)

The size is 100mm square. :) I want to use the wood leftovers we have lying around here, so that's why I was wondering if it's possible to glue the posts like that. Thanks! :)

    Making a stair post (gluing)

my question is will the expansion/contraction cause a split in the wood when I've glued it up like that?

    Starting a firm?

wow! Thanks for all the good advice! :D I'll let you know how it goes! I think my father will let me use his machines, so I don't have to start from scratch here. There are some machines that I'll buy later when I have some money saved up. I'm also a graphic designer, so making a website won't...

    Starting a firm?

The firm I used to work for makes bespoke kitchens and also cabinets. They sold their products through other well known firms. If a customer called directly to us, we told him/her what firm to contact instead. I think bespoke kitchens are something that would sell well here. I think if I ever...

    Starting a firm?

Hello! My name is Monica and I'm 24 years old. I'm from Norway and I'm working as an apprentice in my father's firm. I did work in another firm for 6 months, but my boss had a bad habit of screaming at me every time I did something wrong. In the end I was so depressed that I didn't want to go...
