Ryobi definitely DIY, stay away if using for anything serious. Go with Makita, much better than De Walt. This is only my opinion though. Woodguy.

For straight cuts i use the Festool track saw. don't think you will get a better cut. For curved work i would cut bigger with a jigsaw & trim to final shape with a router with bearing guide straight cutter running on a template. Woodguy

Not sure what model you have but mine has quite a large filter on the inside. If its any help, mine is blue, about 25mm thick & goes on the outside. Woodguy.

I know my Festool ts55 is tight for lenth on the 1.4m rail but i didn't realise the Makita needs more room. A couple of my mates bought the Makita purely on the cost thing, both now say they wish they paid the extra for the Festool. Woodguy
