    Free bandsaw blade

Hi, Looking at the size of the blade, it looks like it might fit my Kity 613 which is variously listed as 2298mm or 2300mm. If you still have it be interested in taking it. Pete

From off cuts to a Ukulele (I hope!)

That looks absolutely stunning, you look to be doing a great job of it so far. Quick question if I may for Custard, where you you source your rippled timber? I am looking to get some to try and make myself some inlay lines. And can't seem to find any highly rippled like this. Pete

    Freebie anyone?

Phil, I have the same planer thicknesser, and my motor has decided to eat itself. I am nowhere near Yeovil, and I know that the motor is a big old lump of tin. If nobody comes to collect it this weekend, could you possibly look to box it up and ship it? I would obviously pay for shipping plus a...

    Where ?

Hi Malcolm, Looking at the Axminster site depending on which model you wanted and if you could face the temptation that would undoubtedly follow, Nuneaton Store are showing both a EX-21 and an EX-30. Best of luck with the search and I hope you act suitably surprised when you show yourself what...

Building a light but rigid pc case out of plywood.

Not sure if you would have access to one, but the comb joints could be cut in 4mm ply using a Laser Cutter. I have made a number of such boxes using Inkscape and clever plugin that makes the tabbed boxes, the plugin I have used is called Tabbed Box Maker.

Black & Decker BD-339 Bandsaw help

Is this model similar to a Burgess BK3? As I scrapped one not so long ago as the table was banana shaped and I couldn't get it to keep a blade on as one set of the guide bearings were missing. If it is the same and you need any parts let me know and I will see what I can dig out.

    Fastest Glue

I think that Chronos use the http://www.quality-woodworking-tools.com domain for their woodwork business. That is the link I have saved in my Bookmarks for them anyway. They do list Titebond on there: http://www.quality-woodworking-tools.co ... Glues.html HTH Pete

Steve's workshop - Painting the outside walls

Another good way of getting moisture out of electronics is to put them in a bowl of rice. I have resurrected a couple of mobile phones and an aluminium iMac keyboard using this technique.
