    Thanks for the advice. The 3 italia site is very interesting, and cheaper than the UK! (One of the few things that is, excluding vino and eating out of course). My wifi router has no USB input, can I buy an adapter to be able to plug the dongle in? Steve

    At the moment I am making furniture for the house, and some joinery. I generally use european oak and yes I use the Clifton as a smoother. I thought the block would work as a smoother for small areas which is why I considered a No 3 Steve

    I understand what you are saying John but why would the internet reconnect when I use the phone. So far I haven't noticed it disconnect when the phone is in use. The line is indeed many years old but the village is due for an optical upgrade to 20mg this year (or maybe not, we are in italy)...
