I think it was heat more than water. The door had been painted black and it was last summer, when we had those crazy temperatures. I changed the panels for accoya and no problems.

I made one for my last house. Made it like a frame ledge and brace door but the head was only tenon thickness to allow enough to slide the T&G panels down from the top each side in grooves. Then glued front and back faces to the top rail after it was assembled. Still left 2mm expansion gaps...
I thought the whole point of abranet was that if used with an extracted sander it will not clog or throw dust everywhere. We use them on our air palm sanders in the workshop and find the dust extraction is great. Not much good for just sanding in the hand.... A tad expensive compared to the big...
Yeah that's where I got the idea from. He has a very nice workshop and some crazy machines. Clever guy. I do find my self shouting at him 'NO' when he uses his cross cut sometimes though. He doesn't hold the piece of wood which is against the stop....Could jam against the blade and fly out.
