    Scheppach ci2500 sawbench

Hi Fred I had the same problem with my TS2500CI. I was able to improve the situation dramatically with lubrication. If you look at the arbour bearings you'll notice that it is mounted in a large steel plate. This plate runs over another plate that is mounted to the chassis. Oil in between...

Trend PRT Router Table for sale

I have the Trend PRT (professional router table) that I am selling if anyone is keen. I've had it for 6 months and is in mint condition. The reason for me selling it is because I have just bought myself a spindle moulder (that has a high speed router spindle) and therefore don't need it anymore...

    Forum users' Table saws

Well, after much deliberation and two trips to Felder UK in Milton Keynes to view their range, I have ordered the KF700 saw/spindle. It is arriving on the 6th March. I really can't wait!

Calling all Axminster 6" Surfacer owners:

That's good news - it does look like a really good machine from what I've seen on the web. How easy is it to change the blades - do they need careful setting or are they self-setting?

Calling all Axminster 6" Surfacer owners:

Lord Nibbo, was just wondering why you sold your Lyndhurst? I remember you only getting it a little while ago. I was thinking of getting one myself - is it not quite up to scratch?

    Garage Contents Insurance??

Hi Roger, I've tried NU but they won't insure contents for more than £3K. Apparently there are brokers that can tailor a quote but I am struggling to find them. Thanks anyway. Nolan

    Garage Contents Insurance??

Thanks for the info Les. I called Barclays but they will only insure a detached garage's contents up to £3000.00 This is an improvement though. Thanks Nolan

    Garage Contents Insurance??

I am really struggling to find insurance for my workshop. I have a home policy with Abbey, however they only cover the contents of my garage up to £2000. Does anyone know of an insurance company that will insure contents for a detached garage/workshop for an amount over £5000? Thanks Nolan

    Scheppach HMS260CI -- lifting onto base ...

Hi Phil I really wouldn't suggest you turn the machine upsidedown. As you know the machine is really heavy and you run the risk of bending the planer table hinges. I would suggest you go with moving the plates outwards - it worked for me. Cheers Nolan

Anyone import Delta Unisaw into the UK?

Hi John, I really am keen on a 12" machine - could you point me in the direction of any online reviews on the 12" SIP? Cheers Nolan

Anyone import Delta Unisaw into the UK?

Thanks for all the comments. Table saws really seem to be a hotly debated topic. There are so many options available and each saw has pros and cons. I just want a machine that will accept my newly aquired osbourne EB3 mitre gauge, my mortising attachment (that I know my wife is getting me for...

    Scheppach HMS260CI -- lifting onto base ...

Hi Phil I also have the HMS2600CI and had the same problem. I also had the neighbours around and after half an hour, defeated, got out my tape measure, loosened the bolts on the base and reset it. Unfortunately you can't just bolt the base together and expect it to fit. As you and I found out...
