I have the KGS254 which is just a bigger version. You need to adjust the fence so it is perfectly square at the 0' position. There is a left and right side of the fence. Both of them have 2 screws you can loosen and adjust. It can take a bit of fiddling but once its set it should be good. This...
Or wooden pillars so as not to put a big wall in middle of your workshop. This guy did some pretty nice wooden beams and pillars - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hQWjrWgdwc - albeit he is in Canada, so I do not know how this flies with BC here.
I am suprised no one has mentioned hook angle. Surely the blade that you use in your table saw will be alot different than what you use on your sliding mitre saw. I am looking at replacing my sliding mitre saw blade, and I am having difficulty finding good blades with a negative hook angle. All...
What about a roll of vinyl? You could probably get it pretty cheap and if you were not too fussed you could probably get 2 bits cheap from cuts that might fit and gaff them at join. Alternatively one big section would look clean.
You would be best going to your local carpet fitter place as...
Im well aware of how to calculate amps from watts, what I don't understand is what "Rated input power S1 100%" and "S6 20%" means. There is a cheaper Titan model at £49.99 vs this one at £69.99 - They both appear to have same motors etc in it, just a little larger capactiy and this power tool...
Thanks everyone for suggestions. Well I am considering the Titan 1400W one - http://www.screwfix.com/p/titan-ttb430v ... 240v/70472 - I am confident t he Nilfisk one I linked earlier will be good, but I am n ot sure I want to invest that much money into it, when this one at half the price will...
Having a look at this by Nilfish - http://www.screwfix.com/p/nilfisk-aero- ... _container
Any good? I cant seem to find any info on how well these vacs filter down to in regards to dust microns. Anyone know?
Thanks for response. I think I am going to hold off in getting a large HVLP dust extraction untill I get the planer. I want to get a "shop vac" essentially. I know you mention about the Lidl one, but I cannot seem to find this at the moment. I am also in N.I so I am not sure we get all the power...
I know there are loads of threads on this and loads of youtube videos and all sorts, which is exactly why I am making this thread. Information overload you could say! There just appears to be so many ways and types of dust extraction. So I am hoping someone can advice what would be the best unit...
The problem is it is incorrectly described on that website. It is not a euro to UK adapter. It is a UK to euro adapter. When you describe adapters you always start with the Male end. So when someone says they need a 13a > 16a adapter, they mean they want a 13a plug to 16a socket.
Thanks. What about drying wood? I am wanting to start getting some proper wood for projects going forward and want to be able to get them dried to correct moisture etc. Surely my garage will not aid this? What conditions do i need for this? One reason I was considering going down the insulation...
