thanks, gill, is one side free from voids? i actually saw some G1 aircraft ply, looked the biz, but at £60 plus £17 carriage its really expensive, so obviously I'm after something a little cheaper but i dont want to scrimp on the quality!

Hi I'm looking at 1.5mm birch, but i'm confused about the quality, i am cutting wooden business cards so need a good quality finish, i know ply comes in grades but i cant seem to see anywhere that sells larger sheets in 1.5mm thats a good quality, been looking all afternoon :shock:

Hello, can anyone help, i am looking for wood sheets at 1/16" thick i have sourced some from Hobbys, but they only supply small sheets, does anyone have any ideas where may stock larger sheets, i can only seem to find them on modelling website Thanks so much :lol:

Hi everyone, i am cutting business card sized 1.5 mm plywood, and i wondered if there was an alternative to this, i have tried s 1.5 mm cherry veneer but it was so brittle it snapped too easily. i am hoping for something with the durability ply but maybe a better quality finish? can anyone...

apologies for the confusion, i think what i meant was constructional veneer, as i cant get doubled sided plywood veneers that thin. kindest regards kezza

Can you buy this from anywhere? i can only seem to find single sided, and dont have a press to glue in myself Needing it to be around 1.2-1.5mm in total many thanks :) :D Kezza
