It will only get worse when it arrives - start printing out templates and preparing wood while you wait! :D Chris

    AWFS18 vs Hegner Multicut 2S m/s

Bah, amateurs! I had to move my 480kg lathe from the garage, where Axminster dropped it off, into my workshop, which involved moving it over a step. Just took my time and thought about it for a month, planning a group of mates to help, but then I did it alone. Chris

    Jig Saw

I just hope for your sake that she's not reading this - your contributions would be sadly missed! :D

    Jig Saw

Yes, might do something like that for my mother. She'd probably enjoy it even if she didn't remember where it came from! Chris

    Jig Saw

    abcdefg...

Thanks, it's painted with cheap acrylic paint from 'The Works' or similar (stole it from my wife's craft room, shhh) with a couple of coats of spray lacquer to give it some protection from sticky fingers. The letters and numbers are painted just on one side so the little one knows which side...

    abcdefg...

Sometimes, the most basic of things give a huge amount of pleasure. Made this for one of my granddaughters who's starting to learn the alphabet and she loves it. Now we're both having fun playing with it and learning :) Chris

    Landrover Intarsia

Looks pretty damned good to me. My brother-in-law would love something like that for his birthday so I may be asking for the pattern before next May :) Chris
