Well, thanks, Neilyweely! I was at a building exhibition recently and found a Ryobi booth. They have a new distributor here so I may be able to order the saw - assuming that the price stays right compared to the competition. It's good to have someone else's experience.
Good luck...
Thanks. Very helpful indeed. I saw the saw in an exhibition for the first time yesterday - but without the mitre guage and slide bar. The T slots look part of the table casting to me. I don't know that I'd want to take the table off (if that is possible) and spend money on having it milled. Why...
Well, do let us know please! This is the sort of thing you can only find out at a demo. (which is often not possible) or from personal recommendations as on the forum.

Looks like they upgraded it - and at half the price!!
It would be very expensive here! But you'll have seen the specs of the equivalent saw that Bosch market in the US. Much, much better than the European model. I'd buy it on the spot if it were available here in a 220 volt version. What I cannot understand is why Bosch do such a thing. Maybe...
Thanks Mike,
I looked at Incra's website - and you are right. I'd still like to know if anyone has found a decent mitre gauge to go into thr Bosch gts10 slots.
Henry
Thanks for the replies and the welcome to the forums. Wish we could get the wheeled base here. I am going to have to build a wheeled table for it if I decide to buy. Actually I only need to wheel it out of my small workshop for bigger jobs.
Has this saw REALLY got a plastic body?
Mike...
David,
I'd be very interested to hear how you are getting on with this saw. It's the only well-known make I've seen being sold here in Israel but I have not managed to see one out of its box yet. How is the mitre fence and can the riving knife be removed easily?
Thanks,
Henry
I'd be interested in hearing more about your (or anyone else's) experiences with Bosch GS10. It's about the only well-known make of saw available here in Israel. Unfortunately, none of the dealers have one set up for me to see! It's expensive here, but I am not impressed with the much cheaper...
