Advantage of longer screwdrivers, more leverage or...?

I always thought that the longer length allowed the shaft to twist and act like a torque converter.

Augmented reality power tools - the next revolution?

I've seen a few of these crowd funded projects fall short but this looks very promising.

    Which type/size nailer?

Palm nailers are speciality tools, I wouldn't choose one for general fixing. We have one at work that gets used about once every couple of years... You should get a cheap nail gun that can fire 90mm for less than a £100. We have a no-name thing that is used in the workshop for knocking kits...

    Which type/size nailer?

If you already have a compressor you should be able to pick up a decent nailgun fairly cheaply. Bostitch are good. If you want cordless you are looking at at least £300 plus the expensive nails to go with it. I like the Dewalt framer over the Paslodes.

What to get in the way of storage boxes.

I think they are polypropylene. They certainly don't crack (we use them for moving heavy stuff like breakers and stihl saws in the back of tippers...)

Creative Craftsmen Need For A New TV Show.

Is it a challenge based format just like all the other guff that's on?

What to get in the way of storage boxes.

I've found the euro boxes don't crack like the ones you buy in diy outlets. They are widely used in industrial environments. Big dug have them at a good price.

What to get in the way of storage boxes.

Euro boxes are very good and come in all sorts of sizes.

Cordless nailers - Clueless as to what I should buy.

Pneumatic cheapo in the shed at home and bostitch 16g on site. Very very pleased with the bostitch (having used supplied paslodes in the past) I dont think you can beat the pneumatics if you are bench bound though.

    What E-Ciggy

No problem. I've only really tried the fag flavoured liquids so far so can't really give you much help with that. The good thing with the Kanger tanks is that they are glass and can be stripped down and washed out if you are experimenting with different flavours a lot.

    workshop floor

I've just got bare chipboard laid over three layers of laminate flooring underlay. I would wreck laminate flooring in no time

    What E-Ciggy

I would get a Kanger mini tank (it's glass with replaceable coils) and a couple of eGo batteries to suit. http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_ ... Caps%2C436 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Genuine-Variabl ... go+battery Then your talking about £3 a week on juice. I had this setup for a while but...

New driver and impact - Bosch, Milwaukee, Fein or Panasonic?

I would recommend the Panasonic. The batteries are fantastic and the drills are very well. I know a few tradesmen (window fitters and curtain wall glazers) who have moved from using Hilti to Panasonic. I've always considered Hilti to be top of the heap when it comes to 'guns' so the Pannies...
