Ok.... Bearing swap was pathetically simple.. some hiccups, Axminster's rubbish bearings had corroded against the spindle and took a minute to soak in wd40 and hammered out, i also found a small section of the seat for the rear bearing had been broken in the previous bearing change by Axminster...
