I have that saw, and I have been using it this afternoon, on Siberian Larch. It rips well, and I have no trouble cutting straight if I cut between two lines rather than on one. Can be awkward to start, but once it's going it's fine. I could try it on Oak tomorrow.

I have used 'compatible' ink in my Epson printers for years, and never had a problem. Also , the quality of photo prints has always been good, and I'm fussy.

I much prefer to use an axe to split wood. I love the sound the wood makes as it splits. I groan when I see people on TV using an axe. They have no clue how to handle one.

The best bit about being retired is not having to go to meetings and listen to some complete a...hole drone on about some half-pineappled 'quality improvement programme'. The point of their pitch not being to improve things but to try and become more visible to upper management.

Not sure if this is the best forum. Does anyone know what kind of chair this is. Some have suggested a nursing chair, but I don't buy that. It's too low. You'd struggle to get out of it. I had an RB10 some time ago. It was dreadful. I wouldn't bother.

I confess I haven't ploughed through the whole thread. We had a problem with 'mystery' electricity consumption. We tracked it down to the fact that the oven was drawing about 120 watts even when it wasn't being used. We now turn it off at the wall switch.
