well time has come to pack the last item, the pc! will be back online in about 4 weeks if all goes to plan! Thanks to all for your kind words and support... when rebuild takes place will try to sort pictures, so all can see. once again thanks :D

well the move is all set for the 16th less than 2 weeks and were out ! started to pack the workshop today,& i've already found stuff that i've spent time in the past looking for, and replaced like that vanishing pack of scroll saw blades, im sure that drawer was tipped out when i was looking...

My house has major structural defects so we have to leave for while :evil: the workshop has to come down as it cant be insured with an unocupied house and all my toys/tools are to go into storage along with the contents of the house, our landlords insurance is footing the bill :D so what is...

the jack is bolted to a 38mm fixed shelf (2x18mm mdf) by its own base, my jack base is square so setting that was a doddle, top of jack has a deep channel/mouth so I shaped a piece off oak to fit the top of the jack then slightly cupped the other side to fit the router but don't block cooling...

I use a home made table with a 2050watt b&q router with springs removed, to raise / lower I use a straight lift scissor jack from an old car this lifts / lowers by around 1.5mm for half a turn.... I used this router due to its power and price it handles door components without a problem...

this method of nail removal was recomended by a pallet maker! stack the pallets set them on fire when reduced to ashes use a magnets to collect the nails :wink:
