    Earwigs

    We could do with a few earwigs down here to keep the mites, (Acarus siro) down. They are cutting the hay up the road and these little critters are everywhere at the moment. In the garden this year I have noticed an increase in woodlice and red ants, maybe they like the mites too. :lol:

    If you need the piece done quick then a couple of coats of shellac, 10 minutes to dry and its good to be painted over with whatever based paint you like. If you use white shellac, (clear) then it could even be varnished over too. When I worked on site I use to seal all the edges of MDF...
